Use page types for alternate share images

Use page types when a group of pages should show a different image from the default, or when non-home pages should share one broader fallback template.

Follow the steps below to complete this workflow from start to finish.

Overview

A quick summary before you begin.

Goal
Connect a page type to the alternate share image you want Mosaicora to use.
Time
10 to 15 minutes
Prerequisites
At least one saved template and a site with page-type rules.

Steps

  1. 1

Open the Page Types tab on the site.

  2. 2

Choose the page type rule you want to edit.

  3. 3

Select the alternate share image or template that should apply to that rule.

  4. 4

For example, blog pages can use an article-style image while a non-home rule covers the rest of the site and the homepage keeps the default image.

  5. 5

Save the rule and confirm that the mapping appears in the list.
